I am so excited for my long time student and friend, Garrett Clayton, who will be performing tonight on NBC’s HAIRSPRAY LIVE as Link!  We’ve worked hard for this moment in time and I know he’ll rock it out.  Also wishing my student Jacque LeWarne all best. Watch it tonight 8PM…

I’m also thrilled to announce that my friend, the brilliant FERRAS has co-written a new song for our musical “SING!” and it is going to be a giant hit!  He’s an amazing talent and it’s an honor to have him represented in our astounding group of composers including my partner Franne Golde, Brenda Russell, Stephen Bray, Marsha Malamet, Cameron James Brier, Ari Hest et al.

And speaking of Ari Hest.. great congrats to him on his Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album with Judy Collins… Exciting times!
