This has been a thrilling and rewarding time, working on three new films with three gifted, smart and delightful actors: Elle Fanning (“Teen Spirit”), Joshua Whitehouse (“Valley Girl, the Musical”, and the legendary, Jane Fonda (“the Book Club”) .

These are very special projects with very special actors and our work together has been among my favorite relationships and working experiences ever!

In addition, I am teaching a Musical Essence Class at the LA Songwriting School and finishing up the Spring Voice Gym.

As I continue work on the films, I am completing  a new draft of “SING!” , the musical I’ve been writing with Franne Golde based on an idea by Steve Binder.  Other composers include Brenda Russell, Stephen Bray, Marsha Malamet, Ari Hest, Lindsay Ray, Richard Kerr  et al.  We are planning a Fall workshop in Los Angeles  followed by two out of town tryouts and then Broadway.  This is a dream project and working on it with these composers has been magical.
